Brad Thomas, President of Silver Dollar City Company, is a mission-driven leader on a quest to carry out the company’s Vision and Mission to bring families closer together by creating memories worth repeating. During his three-decade career with the company that began in 1991, he has held various leadership roles in Merchandise, Special Events, and Park Management. Brad’s current responsibilities include overseeing Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson Belle, White Water, and The Silver Dollar City Campground operations. Brad earned his Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Missouri State University. He is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Missouri, a program of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  Brad serves on the Board and was the past chair, of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors of Leadership Missouri Alumni Association.  He is a member of the International Festivals and Events Association and has earned the Certified Festival & Event Executive designation (CFEE) from that organization.

Start your day just before park opening with a breakfast buffet and introduction from Brad Thomas. Hear more about what’s new and what’s next for Silver Dollar City including special insight on its new family coaster, Fire in the Hole, and their partnership with Rocky Mountain Construction.

Park Open and Morning EDUTours

Get an insider look at unique attractions and key areas including Marvel Cave, food and beverage operations, souvenirs, and merchandising.
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Lunch at Rivertown Smokehouse

12:30-5 p.m.

Afternoon EDUTours and Free Time

Go behind the scenes of record-breaking rides to learn more about operational best practices, theming and engineering, safety, and maintenance. Then experience the thrills for yourself with free time to ride Fire in the Hole, Time Traveler, Outlaw Run, Wildfire, and Powder Keg.
